I’m happy to announce that the second novel of the Daxton Pride series, Persistence, is now available!
Persistence is the first book I’ve written that lived up to its title. I typically take a novel from conception to published in one year. But Persistence took five years.
Why?
Usually with writers, people think: writer’s block. But the reality is, usually, life just gets in the way.
Life presented me a slew of obstacles throughout the writing of Persistence. But I kept working; sometimes slower, sometimes faster, but never giving up. A shoulder injury was responsible for much of the extended process, with its share of physical and mental setbacks and doctor appointments.
I could go into detail about the countless particulars, but that’s beside the point. The point is that Persistence has finally crossed the finish line!
To all my readers: Thank you for being a reader, and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
